You're making we want to get an AK again 308...

I love my AK and my SKS both are fun to shoot.

It's an amazing weapon that can take more abuse and still function than any weapon I've ever had.
It wasn't difficult to get the AK to 'bounce fire' a full mag in about 3 seconds (well before bump stocks became popular).

A real sniper has spent years perfecting his skills of shooting ...
and millions in training, equipment and infrastructure. (fixed it for ya')

Anyone with a bb gun can 'want' to be a sniper.  But if you look at the qualities and abilities required for success, it's a very, very, very small group.

My brother loaded me up on some fresh tomatoes, onions and jalapeno peppers, so I'm making some homemade salsa this afternoon. Woot! Woot!  :rocknroll2:
MMM Good nothing better than
Fresh salsa with garden fresh veggies.

Or freshly squeezed and fermented juice from the Blue Agave plant.  :rocknroll2:

Then you have members of the USA team who refuse to respect the anthem as a protest toward higher pay.
IMO she should be booted off the team.

Na, just quit providing public funds and watch them cry then snap back in line.

To CBS news, it might have been a revelation.

I'd rather watch a tiddly-winks competition than soccer!  :th_thicon_lol:

... (Except for mud-wrestling and lingerie football!) ...

Dammmmm, I missed that one! But I just googled it and it looks like a flop (pun intended).

Lifted this post for a thread from the other day. Another "Tactical Timmy". LOL!  :th_thicon_lol:

Just out of pure curiosity do y'all have a favorite sniper rifle and if it comes equipped with a scope which one do you use the most? Thanks in advance

Some speciality regiments or squads use "Special Applications Scoped Rifle" or "SASR", but that's not necessarily a "Sniper Rifle".  Many claim Boomer is a sniper rifle, but that's only been true once, when a former Navy Seal was on it.

And from a 'famous / infamous' sniper perspective, Lee Harvey and Vasily Zaytsev used rifles that many / most contemporary shooters consider to be cheap junk...  And Carlos Hathcock used an M2 with a scope, hardly a "sniper rifle", except in his hands.

"It's the *driver*, not the *vehicle* that make the rifle".

I'm not a big soccer fan either but I'm all for a free and fair market.  If women in the sport want more money, great, 'make the spectacle worth what you want'.    Part of the problem with women's sports is that (short of female mud wrestling :)  ) most men are not as interested in women's ______ vs. men's ______.

Further, it doesn't appear that women are as enthusiastic about 'women's sports' than men are interested in 'just sports'.

Finally, people who make comments like 'women's sports deserve a pay increase' need to look at the basic cash flow of any business or sports.

Borrowed this from a buddy off another forum, and read through it, and how much sense he made with his observations.

Is Logic The Same Thing As Common Sense?

1 - Eleven teens die each day because of texting while driving. Maybe it's time to raise the age of smart phone ownership to 21.

2 - If gun control laws actually worked, Chicago would be Mayberry, USA.
It does work, if you use ďChicago mathĒ.

3 - The Second Amendment makes more women equal than the entire feminist movement.

4 - Legal gun owners have 300 million guns and probably a trillion rounds of ammo. Seriously, folks, if we were the problem, you'd know it.

sounds like 1Trillion / 300Million - 3,300 rounds each. Sounds like a low average number around here...

5 - When JFK was killed, nobody blamed the rifle.

Thatís because most people canít say or spell "MannlicherĖCarcano" correctly.

6 - The NRA murders 0 people and receives $0 in government funds. Planned Parenthood kills 350,000 babies every year and receives $500,000,000 in tax dollars annually.

7 - I have no problem with vigorous background checks when it comes to firearms. While we're at it, let's do the same when it comes to immigration, Voter I.D and candidates running for office.

And all elected and appointed politicians.

8 - You don't need a smoke detector; that's what the fire department is for. Now...if you think that sounds stupid, you know how I feel when you say I don't need a gun.

Actually thatís backwards:  For the same reason you need a smoke detector and fire extinguisher, you need an alarm and weapon to remain safe until help arrives.

9 - Folks keep talking about another Civil War. One side knows how to shoot and probably has a trillion bullets. The other side is crying inside closets and is confused about which bathroom to use. Now tell me, how do you think that's going to end?

I really hope and pray people donít think like that. We as a country have enough serious problems to deal with.

Donít be afraid to share this. Thereís more logic and common sense expressed here than probably anything youíve seen on the news today

Just started here.  Itís been a wet month and year.

If a person had a talking parrot, they could get the parrot to ask Alexa questions!  :rocknroll2:

"Polly want  a cracker?"  :th_thicon_lol:

Would an Alexa and an Echo carry on a conversation?

my Wife's SIL sent to us 2 of those Alexa thingies for Christmas - if I want to know what time it is I'll look at a clock - the devices are sitting in their boxes, somewhere (but I may have tossed 'em in the trash)
If everyone that had one put a radio tuned to sports next to it and left it on, their servers would overload and their service would degrade.... :scream3:

Maybe this boomer will make him cry for mommy:

Iíll stick with Boomer, that .450 lever is going to be painful.

I was hoping for a scope cam pic.

My daughter got me for fathers day a gizmo that connects to my home WIFI and now all I have to do is say "Hey Google " play me Jail House  Rock
and away it plays .
I can ask it to play anything and it pumps it right out. So Cool.
And spies on you.
Apparently these home automation devices DO send all your request to a server for storage and many listen and send all you say.

Iím surprised he didnít say tossed salad.

the thread's question was Something - not Somebody.....right   :th_thicon_lol:
If someone wants to say  thatís ok by me.  :th_thicon_idea:

This would be a pucker factor if you walked into your house.
Luckily the little fella was safely removed.
