I like Chromebooks the best. So, so trouble free.

I like HP as well. I own 2 now (an HP chromebook and an HP Windows 10 laptop). I've also owned 3 HP desktops before that. And, my son has an HP Chromebook right now.

Once all the mail order computer companies went broke a couple decades ago, I've bought nothing but HP over the years. I also have an HP printer.

I have 1 Dell Chromebook. It is the first Dell I have owned since 1993. Overall, I am not really a Dell fan, but this particular Chromebook had the features I wanted at the time.

I will be buying more HPs in the future. I can't get my 2 previous favorites - Micron and Quantex.

I bought a new HP printer yesterday, tried to get it up and running this morning - a no go.....got hold of the "person in India or Pakistan" who said I had no firewall/needed for the set-up - I've never paid any attention to that but thought that my Anti-Virus program had all the protection I needed....."not so" says Neelu Dhingra

so, he and my Wife spent the morning setting up a costly firewall (I can't hear nor understand those people) - also cleaned up the computer and the whole process took about 3+ hours - I'm still not sure how this all comes together, but.....

any comments ref "firewall" ?

Just making sure - you WERE talking to someone in HP for sure, right?

You didn't give them access to your computer, did you?

You don't need a special firewall. Most antivirus suites have a built in firewall. If it doesn't, just use the free Windows 10 firewall. That is all I use for now.

Also - if you have a router for internet, it has a firewall as well.

I just rewatched Night of the Comet again. I love that old 80s movie

I don't know about blowing up, buT I agree with him - I would NEVER buy a highpoint either. EVER.

As far as I am concerned, they are crap pistols. I have heard better things about the carbine. But honestly, I could never make myself buy one of those either.

I've owned 2 Beretta 9mm carbines over the years. I have a friend that has a high point carbine. No way would I buy one, though. Call me a gun snob if ya like, but I don't want a High Point either. It WAS 1 of the brands I selected in the poill years ago when I voted in the poll.

Thought it was going to be about a gun for shooting Legos.
Disappointed.

Sorry to hear about your issues.

This is my 3rd Shield (I had 2 previously) that I got in January. They've all worked great.

Prilosec just had a lot of problems with cancer causing agents in the medicine. They even waited to pull it right after it hit the news. I even mentioned it to the HEB pharmacy when the news had been out a week - and they knew nothing about it. It was finally pulled from shelves a week later. I don't know if they have resolved the problem - and if it is back. I have not been into a grocery store for over 2 months

They actually gave me another medicine - Protonix. But, it made me dizzy for 2-3 weeks that I took it. I finally had to quit

The OTC Nexium is back out in the stores again. I knew they had pulled it off the shelves, for some reason to do with possible cancer causing problems, or something. Not for sure of all the details though.

I haven't tried Protonix.

It was OTC Prilosec that was pulled, not Nexium. But, it's out again? Ok. The prescription Nexium I take is 2x the strength of the OTC stuff. And, it's actually cheaper thru the pharmacy than buying it OTC
