Glad to hear the Five Seven worked fine.

Yes, happy birthday!

My granddaughter (21) has been staying with us this past month as the lease on her place expired and she can't move into her new place until August. She's also spending time at her boyfriends place which is fine. She's an adult and can do what she wants plus she's a level headed girl, a little spoiled, and we trust her.

Well today she told us that her boyfriends roommate tested positive for A symptomatic Corona. Well ain't that just f*****g wonderful. She and her boyfriend took the test today. Results are Sunday.....stay tuned!  :bangheadonwall:

EDIT: Roommate is now showing symptoms.

Good luck!

Ah, I missed that. I only saw the levers.

So, does it work that way

The safety levers.....

That had to suck.

Sho nuff.

It should get fixed.

MY favorite holster is the Galco Matrix Belt holster (it is an OWB holster). I have used one for my HK P2000 for years...

They used to make a Sig 229 version. It is discontinued, but you can still find them online with a Google search. I got one a few months ago (new) because the Sig 229 version also fits the Beretta APX

While it is OWB, it works better than most other OWB leather holsters I have tried (The Matrix holster is polymer).

After 9/11 I was on an international forum that often addressed terrorism et al related topics.
Not infrequently crazy's /  trolls would show up and throw bombs.
The interesting part was a 'masterful' forum member, who would subtly engage these guys, and often get the bomb throwers to  cross the line, and a followup home visit from the authorities......

Ya know, ever now and then some of these trolls (or their outcomes) are amusing.
So Ship, maybe you really want to have some fun with them?

I hear ya, but doing that is not really my thing.

Other than the term "Boogaloo" on TFB TV (on Youtube) - this is news to me

Gun-toting members of the Boogaloo movement are showing up at protests

Boogaloo members appear to hold conflicting ideological views with some identifying as anarchists and others rejecting formal titles. Some pockets of the group have espoused white supremacy while others reject it. But they have at least two things in common: an affinity for toting around guns in public and a "boogaloo" rallying cry, which is commonly viewed as code for another US civil war.

I had a frozen pizza last night.

I was stuck in a court room all day where the a/c was out. And, I had to wear a mask. Talk about hot. Had a headache by the end of the day. I didn't feel like cooking....

Yes, you are correct. You can have no other opinion but theirs. Or, they try to shut you down. They want "free speech" as long as it is their view.

Thanks for the note Ship.
Iíve tried to quit arguing with idiots and pigs:  Neither is going to change their position.
Besides if I work another hour each day and make more $ for ammo, Iím clearly the better prepared, true?

Tech Zone / Liberals on a tech forum...

Anyone here know Leo Laporte?

I like listening to him - He is known as "The Tech Guy." He was on tv years and years ago. And now he has a radio show and runs a podcast network. Well, last year, he started a discussion forum.... I joined that forum in the beginning ...

For months, I stayed outta several leftest threads, because I didn't join that forum to discuss politics... I joined the forum to talk about tech... I noticed the forum leans very much left, and I stayed outta so many conversations. But finally, I couldn't resist a couple of threads lately.

Anyway, for 2 days now I have been in a thread with people who deny mail in ballot fraud and that big tech favors the left. Man, no matter how many examples of vote fraud ya give some lefties, their head is still in the sand.... And, they try turning me into the bad guy....

The thread is here:

Man, they have some deniers out there.

I generally only listen to his Tech Guy radio show, because many of the other podcasts he has contains a lot of lefty views. I'll keep listening to that 1 particular show, because he rarely injects politics into that 1 show. But, I've noticed most entertainers lean hard to the left, and it sometimes takes the fun outta stuff they do when they get on their soapbox. There are a few actors I refuse to watch because of some things they have said in the past.

But, admittedly, if ya start going down that road, you won't watch anything....

This is like only the 2nd politics thread I participated in there. In the first - this whole suppression of conservatives in Twitter came up, and most of my posts got flagged by left leaning members there. But, they would not speak up - they just flagged what they don't like. Even the other members participating in the thread (and did not agree) couldn't believe what was happening to my posts. IN the end, only 1/2 got reinstated, and then Leo deleted the entire thread.

I think I'm just gonna stick to the tech topics, because it seems like I am a lone voice there. I'm just gonna shut up now :p

LAPD arrests man posing as a National Guardsman at George Floyd protests

The man was caught when a real member of the National Guard spotted him at about 1:30 a.m. and noted that his uniform was not right, and that he was armed with an AR-15 instead of an M16.

What city?
Social media posts indicate a march on the Brazos County courthouse tonight. Want to call him to see what's up but I know he's probably busy.

In the 20+ years he's been a cop I really never worried about him when he was working. He's a big guy and knows how to handle himself but something inside me say's all of this is different.

I saw a small story about some protests by A&M. I didn't realize there was a march to the ct house. I hope we don't have that kinda violence here in B/CS!

LED bulbs have come way down in price. My father is changing all of his out to LED bulbs when they need to be replaced.

I'm doing the same thing.

Yes, they have been coming down in price a lot - I think the plan is to get rid of the fluorescents. WalMarts don't hardly have any fluorescent screw in bulbs anymore. LEDs all down the shelves
