Off Topic Discussion (NON FIREARM RELATED) / Re: Rioting in Houston?

They reported some broken windows in Houston,  but no large scale Looting and burning.  I have to say that I am impressed with the people of Houston doing 99% peaceful protests. Unless the media is hiding it.

It seems he has violated his terms of service with the credit card processors and visa/mastercard.   I am really surprised they have not suspended his account. This would be the best way to go after this guy.

Wow, Most insurance companies don't lay out the money for a roof until the work has begun on it.

Some anecdotal  evidence we are not being told the truth  I spoke with a person today from Minnesota he said a very close friend of his father died he had been ill for quite some time dementia etc. He said they pushed hard to try to rule it a corona death

Now that is disconcerting. If that happened to me I would be firing off e-mails to any corporate e-mail address I could find. President, vice president, supply room clerk, whatever. The squeaky wheel get's the grease so let's get that paper trail started is my motto. When I pay for a service I don't expect some chuckelhead tell me that they can't do their job.
Well When I called the folks I spoke to were very Knowedgeable about my case and answered my questions and helped.  But in the questionaire I was sent after the claim was complete I flamed him.

I think there is sensationalism going on on both sides Folks filming the testing center right as they are opening to have the max line.  and folks filming them after they are closed to show no line.

I made a prime rib Sous Vide for easter .  Sous vide 135 degrees 6 hours  then 20 Minutes 425 degree Oven It came out perfect. with roasted pototes and asparagus.

yes nice fear mongering by the Chronicle.  I think they need to be concered with the workers more than customers.  IF you are sick stay home dammit

I have USAA for about 28 years. I always thought their claim service was quick. However, My last claim Oct 19 I did try to call the case worker and never was able to get him on the phone.  He basically told me he was too busy to talk on the phone.  I got to wondering if they actually just assign a bot to the case and expect you to talk with whomever you get on the phone when you call.

Dan Abrams has always been the host of Live PD. If you mean Live Rescue  yes they changed hosts .  dont know why

I was I  walmart yesterday for a few minutes.
What I seen irritated me.

I was in and out, asap. But there were people standing around in there bullshitting like NOTHING was going on. They were sitting and visiting on the benches,,m standing arou d with no cart or basket,,, just blocking the isles talking.

I was like REALLY.?
I grabbed some milk, eggs, soups, freezer meals,1 case of water, and hit the door.

On the way out,, some pajama clad scummers covered in tats were heading into the store, the woman says, "nothing in particular, I just want to look around" .
I think we know what the question was. But her "man" while looking disgusted,, followed her in. .

Today they announced on the local news, 2 cases of Corona at pur ER in the middle of northern Pa. My sister knows Rn's  at the ER. They were 2 kids from philadelphia,, 250 miles away. I would bet my bank book they are dopers. That's the only time we see people from philly here is to deliver dope.

Meanwhile,,, our dem Gov said last week philly was locked down, shelter in place. Obviously that ain't happening.
Today, When questioned if they could stop people from New York and New Jersey coming into PA,,, the Gov,  HE MADE excuses.  So I guess that means no.

These young people could care less how bad they spread this crap. It's like they're doing it on purpose.

I used to live in PA near the delaware water gap bridge .  The folks I know up there are calling for the bridge to be closed they say they are seeing too many New York and New Jersey  Plates there now more than usual. I cant blame them.

I think part of the problem might be that some of the Non essential items are being delayed in shipping as well.
