Politics, Gripes, Complaints / Latest Naval Interdiction
« on: December 31, 2018, 05:52:16 PM »
Boat Intercepted Off the Texas Coast

The Navy intercepted a boatload of people off the Texas coast today.

This placed the Navy in an awkward position as the boat was not heading to the USA , but towards Mexico and Central America

Another surprise finding was the people were white American retirement age seniors. Their claim was that they were trying to get to Central America or Southern Mexico as they wanted to return to the US as illegal immigrants. Then they would be entitled to far more benefits than they were receiving as legitimate American retirees.

It is believed the Navy gave them food, water and fuel and assisted them on their journey.

My wife and I are booking on the next boat out. Let me know if you want to join us.

Please send it on; if only to one person.

Politics, Gripes, Complaints / The Gravy Train
« on: December 02, 2018, 07:20:25 PM »
I doubt that Trump has anything to do with this, but I sure like the concept.

President Trump is against the “Congress Gravy Train! “

That is why so many of the Congress are retiring.

They hope to freeze their retirement as it stands.

This makes too much sense not to be passed on.

At least we can make our wishes known and hope.

I’m with Trump on this one and always will be. Trump is asking everyone to forward this Email to a minimum of 20 people, and to ask each one of those to do likewise.

In 3 days, most people in the United States will have the message.

This is why the idea should be passed around, regardless of Political Party.

The   Trump Rule’s Congressional Reform Act Of 2018:

1 – No Tenure / No Pension.  A Congressman / Woman, collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they’re out of office.  No more perks go with them.

2 – Congressman / Woman ( past, present & future ) participate in social security.

All funds in the Congressional Retirement Fund move to the Social Security System immediately.  All future funds flow into the Social Security System, and Congress participates with the American People.  It may not be used for any other purposes.

3 – Congress must purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4 – Congress will no longer vote themselves pay increases.

Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5 – Congress loses their current Healthcare System and participates in the same Healthcare System as the American people.

6 – Congress must equally abide by all the laws, they impose on the American people.

7 – All contracts with past and present Congressman / Woman are void.

The American people did not make these contracts with Congressmen / Women.

The Congress made all these contracts for themselves.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career.

The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators should serve their terms, then go home and go back to work, and not get all kinds of freebies!

If each person contacts a minimum of 20 people, It will only take 3 days for most people in the United States to receive this message. It’s time for us to take action now!

No sir.  But the fight is growing. On both sides.

First I will say that I hope I am wrong, but most of America is getting a 24 hour blitz , that guns are bad, there are too many of them and that to protect your children, you must do something to ban guns. High school and college kids have already been brain washed into believing that crap. The last time I went to Mississippi to visit my previously conservative Republican family, I got lambasted from all of them that the NRA is evil and we have to get rid of all the guns.  I was pretty much blown away by their change of heart. If they can be turned, it's only a matter of time until the 2nd Amendment is history.

It can't be true, the killer's Glock had a high capacity magazine. They are illegal in California :rocknroll2:
Looks like they are going to need more gun control
Or maybe they will just start banning

How deadly are those bombs? Any demolitions experts out there? From what I have seen, they are black powder and bits of glass all wrapped up in PVC pipe. From my long ago MC training, my thoughts are that those bombs might at worst, blind or burn someone and not much more. So far none have gone off. So I guess wee will never know.

Politics, Gripes, Complaints / Are Guns Now Obsolete?
« on: October 23, 2018, 07:22:33 AM »

A friend of mine told me about this video yesterday. I was done by some activist group, but the concept is not too far fetched. Other than the 3 grams of C4, most of the hardware and software is pretty obtainable by a high school or college student today. Pretty scary concept!

Damn, I have worn Levis all my life. The denim has been getting thinner and thinner. So now I have an even better reason to move to Carharts.

My first gun was a Remington Sportsman 58 12ga shotgun. The first gun I bought was a Browning Nomad 22 cal pistol I bought for $35. I still have both of them. They both have had a lot of use, but are active shooters.

I do. I haven't found a better verification source. I should have verified prior to posting. The Wikipedia account is more accurate and does not endite McCain. That being said, my opinion of the SOB still hasn't changed.
