Being in love with Berettas doesn't mean I think they are superior to everything else.   :th_thicon_lol:

The AR doesn't compare.  50 million people build ARs.  Only one makes a 92FS.  (Taurus doesn't count.)  If everyone made a 92FS, maybe I'd look at others.   :P

I admit to being one, to a degree.  I was just jacking with you because I believe once I you actually said "If it isn't LaRue, it isn't worth having."  Or something along those lines.  Just meaning you saying HUGE ONE wasn't surprising.   :th_thicon_lol: :th_thicon_lol:

Oh wait that's someone else... LOL. And no, you didn't hear that from me. Although I am very picky about what AR's I will own, it is not limited to just LaRue.

Yup. Huge one

Surprised?  Lol.

Just jacking with you.
that's rich, coming from someone madly in love with Berettas. And I had to convince you for weeks to get that BCM of yours. See what I did there

Handguns and Revolvers / Re: Who carries a BUG?

Another thread got me thinking about who else carries a back up gun.

I have a job where I need to carry a back up just in case the SHTF (crossing fingers that it never does).

I carry a 5" 357 magnum 8 shot revolver as a primary and a 2.125" 357 magnum 5 shot revolver as a bug. I usually have one speed loader of each as well.

Curious as to others answers.

My Primary:

BUG:

What is your primary, that thing is the sex

If you're HK falls out of your holster.........I mean pants...........and you shoot yourself (or cause a scene after it clatters away on the floor), are you going to stop carrying that way?    :th_thicon_lol: :th_thicon_lol:

If it EVER actually does, then I will get a holster for it. Well, I'm getting one anyways lol, but besides the point.

I don't really like knives.

That's it. You probably don't carry a flashlight all the time with you like I do. We all have our preferences...

I like the small leatherman micra type knives. I got a good deal on two Gerber Shortcuts on closeout at Walmart for $7 each about a year or so ago. I honestly use the phillips head screw driver and scissors more than I ever use the knife on it.

I don't want a knife any larger than that. I've had a pretty serious accident in the 80s with a butterfly knife and almost bled to death, and always seem to nick myself with bigger knives here and there over the years. A couple of times I probably should have gotten stitches, but managed to get by without them.

So, knives are not my thing. I know I'll cut myself. I'm not interested in anything else but the small one.

Asking why I have that opinion is fine. Your analogy is silly, though.

I actually do carry a small light on me. Interesting though

LaRue, ADM, or BoBro

Even with the law change, I don't see myself getting one. I only carry a small utility knife with other tools on it. I've had bad luck with knives and injuries, going back to when I was a teenager. Not my thing...
So, you don't carry a locking blade knife, simply because you had a bad experience with them? As they saying goes, "if you fall off the horse, get back on." If you happen to get shot, are you going to happen to quit carrying one? Not trying to be an ass, just trying to figure out your reasoning.

I read their product description, but still don't understand what they are for. Lol. Just to prevent wear on the lower?  Why would the regular pins wear the lower???

They provide no proven use, unless you have a FA pistol caliber blow back operated AR
