Title: ..shamed by Wife..
Post by: Tango on October 10, 2019, 08:08:12 AM
.
3 or so of the 7 or so pistols that have been laying around, uncleaned, are my Wife's.....yesterday she "sorta-suggested" that I do something about that "problem"

so I managed to "do" 3 of hers, as cursory a cleaning as it was

still have 4 or 5 to do (I just hate cleaning guns)

Send um over I will.
I may forget to send um back depends on if I likes um or not.

Im not shale we say anal about it Indo sometimes shoot them 2 or 3x(outings) or let them set about a couple weeks before I get around to it.

Guns can be left dirty and still function fine and with modern non corrosive components in most ammo its much less damaging to the firearm.

Although Id say having to be “shamed” by your lady means its been too long.

Well...My wife knows how to safely handle, shoot and clean every gun we own.
She cleans hers.

My son had 2 GFs over the years that liked to shoot as much as he does.
He taught both of'em to how clean the guns they were shooting - And they did.
Still dating 1 of'em.

Just look at it as  kinda like a mandatory turn doing the dishes,,,,only funner.  :th_thicon_idea:

Even though it's an  inexcusable and absolutely despicable act on their part,, that's neither here nor there. We ARE talking about a married woman.  :th_nuts: :bangheadonwall:
:bangheadonwall:

Guns laying around dirty.    :bangheadonwall:

Common honey,,,, why dont you just stick a friggin screw driver in my eye.  :bangheadonwall:

Shot my 4516-2 and my 7.62x39 AR yesterday. I will clean them when I get back to the house today.

Will take about 30 mins.

I will likely do it while watching the Cowboys lose.
