Fun gun to shoot.

Pretty accurate - not as accurate as my AR 15 M4

I'm looking to buy this AK:

newbielink:http://www.houstongunsales.com/catalog_detail.php?product_id=79304 [nonactive]

However, the seller doesn't have a picture available and cannot confirm if it has the typical
AK style side mount for the scope or some sort of picatinny.

Has anyone here had experience with this rifle that can advise me on it?

Just ask the seller. He's the guy that owns this forum.  ---> user ID is Rusty Shackleford

I've never heard of a Saiga that didn't come with the scope mount.

Saiga-12 transformed with a Kushnapup kit, I'd like to put some type of laser on it. Screw sight pictures and all that, no red dot or ACOG etc...

a laser...put the dot on the crackhead's chest, pull trigger!

I was like, "Um, that doesn't look like an AK..."

But then again, neither does this ;)

Here she is, finished. TAC-47 did the gas block and muzzle brake. Very happy.

Ok aquired a Romanian ak kit about 8yrs ago now wanting to put it together this was given to me by a buddy.  He started to drill out the rivets but thinks he went into the barrel so gave it to me.  I have none of the tools to remove replace the  barrel.  And Re rivet the complete weapon but have all the supplies.  I need help to do this.

I attended an AK build party in Santa Fe a few years ago, it was held at a lawn/tractor shop called Wagner Tractor on 6 next to the KFC.

hope that helps,

Has anyone ever dealt with Tac47 in Spring? I dropped my AK off for some customizing earlier. Great group of guys, and you want to talk about wall to wall gun porn for AK enthusiasts. Man, I could get in trouble in that store.

Owner of Tac47 goes by the name of Keith. He's quality minded and his crew has held him back in the past but he's worked very hard at lining them and his shop out.
