If $'s were not an object, who makes the very best .308 AR platform, what scope would you put on it, and how much would the total cost be?  I see it's easy to get to $5K, could you get to $8-10K?

Not sure about the best models. I wouldnt mind owning one. I have several  in 5.56, and DONT like 16 " carbines.
Mine are DPMS and have been real good.

Id want  to have an 18 inch barrel minimum, preferably a  20'  flat top with a rail for a bipod, , ,  with at least  a 12 X 50 Nikon on it though.
Politicians are like diapers, they should be changed often, and for the same reason.

There are two kinds of people in the world my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. YOU DIG.  " Blondie".

Well, any man that wouldnt cheat at cards for a poke, dont want one bad enough. " Gus".

The very best with price as no option?  I don't know but the Armlite AR10T is very nice and sub MOA.
