CHL question

My CHL renewal license was delivered to my mailbox today but I am traveling.  Is a notification to the State that you have recieved it required, similar to a credit card reciept?

Thank you TXAZ for the reply.  I am traveling for a couple weeks and it will sit on a friends table until I get back. 

The handle comes from proud service with the finest group of young men known, in the 8th Engineer Battalion.
