Poll - Favorite Gun Manufacturer?!?!
« Reply #23 on: March 27, 2011, 08:55:41 PM »
No - sorry. The poll is fair and square...

Realize that I post a link to this site in my signature at several other sites... admittedly, Berettas usually do not lead in these types of polls over time. I would expect to see Glock take the lead eventually, along with maybe Springfield (for XDs and for 1911s). But, as my signature guides people here... What other forum do you think I am on the most?

Why, the Beretta Forum, of course... :)

Stands to reason that except for maybe the Texas Gun Talk Forum (which would naturally have a lot of Houston residents on it), I've probably led many Beretta fans here as well...

And, most of the members of this site have never voted, hence my constant bumping of the thread (I tend to delete the "bumps" after someone else replies)...

just messing with you. I really wish people would get more involved in these polls. With over 200 members we should at least be able to get 50 votes

Dont go to glock talk and invite alot of them.  Would rather loss the poll than deal with some of those guys.   There are some good ones but half of glock talk is bs rumors about a new glock that will be out next yr.  Seems like for a few wks that was all they kept talking about.  Someones friend friends friends knows a guy that knows a guy that says a new one is on the way.

Have to pick bursa just a low price reliable group
Death and healing. Ive given both.

For every magic bullet, there are times when the magic won't play. Remember, air goes in and out, and blood goes round and round. Anything that stops either one is very bad for the patient's health. Bigger bullet, bigger hole. Drugs can make you superman. More air in and Bleeding out, or having a pneumo or hemothorax ends the superman bit

Sorry but I gotta go with H&K.  I know, I know...their prices are way high but they are a true innovator when it comes to handguns (first polymer frame handgun) and firearms in general.  The recent P30 series is arguably the most ergonomic (from factory) pistol to hit the market (complete with interchangeable backstraps AND sidestraps).  The mag-release lever is state-of-the-art (allows you to keep pistol on target without grip shifting to reload for) and the rear decocker (on V3, DA/SA) is a brilliant idea.

Second to H&K for me would be Beretta (also a handgun innovator) for their adoption of the rotating barrel system.  Despite how much my hand loves holding a P30 (and how natural they are to point), the PX4 series still proves itself to be more accurate (for me, anyways) than the P30 series (which itself is pretty damn accurate).  With a P30, I'm pretty sure every round will hit center mass @ 15 yards.  With a PX4, I KNOW every round will.

Springfield and Beretta in the lead...

I'm not an XD fan, but I really like their 1911s... I think those are my TWO top favs, actually...

I've owned 6 or 7 HKs over the years. They make good guns!
