Naw... hand made leather desk plaque some friends had done for me in a previous life. Pistol covers my initials and grip covers the Mc before the D. Can't let you heathens know my real name...... :icon_wink:

Isnt that 327 FM a bit of a hand full in that little LCR?

My Blackhawk 327 , 5.5 bbl is great, most accurate long range  revolver Ive ever owned. I love it for hunting.  But its a big heavy tank. All noise and no recoil.

My SP 101, 327  fm - 4.2 bbl  is kinda a hand full on American Eagle 100 grains. The 85's arent too bad.

Do you reload and work up a tamer round?  If so, Whats your favorite  formula for a good SD round.

During the last year or so since I picked up the LCR I bet I've tried every .327 Mag & .32 H&R mag round available. For sure the 100 gr. & 115 gr. Speer, the 100 gr Federal and 100 & 130 gr Buffalo Bore rounds are pretty stout coming out of a snub that weighs right at 20 oz when loaded and they are not something I would shoot all day but nevertheless fun to shoot. For me I found that the Captech-Jamison .327 78 gr "pinnacle grade" round nose was a good fit for me. I also like the Buffalo Bore .32 H&R Mag +P 100 gr JHP as well as the .32 Mag Hornaday Critical Defense & .327 Federal Hydra Shok.. I practice mostly with .32 S&W Long and then, when I carry, mix and match what ever I feel like. I have a 3" Ruger LCRx in .38 special and would like to see them release a LCRx 3" in .327 Federal Magnum.
Years ago I got into reloading at the suggestion of a friend but never really got into it as he did and when he moved I lost interest. May get back into one day.

Thanks. Gonna see if I can find some of those for use in the Sp101.   :thumbsup1:  Probably have to order online.

Last year, about this time, I found the .32 Mag Buffalo Bore +P, which I had never seen before, at a gun show. When I first balked at the price of $17 a box the vendor dropped the price to $16 then $15 if I bought 5. Later, when I checked on line, I saw the best price was $18. See now the price has gone up 10 to 20%. Hornady's I found locally. Think I paid right at $16 or $17 a box. Always have two or three loaded when I carry.

I don't think I've carried anything other than a P938 or LC .38 in the last three years.

At present it's the Shield 45. Occasionally the Beretta Nano. When pocket carry is called for it's the LCP.

My S&W 6906 has now moved to the EDC rotation.  I stripped to frame and smoothed the action, added a 2.5# trigger spring, and I shoot it as well as my PPQ and P30.  But it conceals much better.

It was a S&W 340pd but then I sold that, like an idiot, then it was an M&P shield in .40 which I recently sold.  So back to carrying my Sig C3 which has always been my favorite gun but is a bit bulkier than I would like for an EDC

Nothing changed here.

Still carry the CZ 75 D compact PCR about 90% of the time.

The other 10% is the backup,, a CZ 75 BD.

I'm carrying one of my APXs, but still in "evaluation mode".  Not my dedicated carry yet.

To All,

Since I bought it last month, my SOLE daily carry concealed handgun is my 9mm S&W Shield. = I really, really  like this little SA & often forget that it's on my belt, except when I change jeans.
(Plenty of power for self-defense, small, flat & EASY to conceal even under my usual "shirttail out" golf shirt.)

yours, satx

Like I said, I'm still evaluating it.  I like the gun for sure, just haven't decided if I'm going to start carrying it full time or not.  Now that I've got some gear for it I like and have been doing some dry fire I'm pretty comfortable with it.  Need to get back out to the range soon.
