My favorite is my everyday carry in my Avatar. It's a Regent Arms R350CR, 4 inch barrel. It is manufactured by Tisas of Turkey. More than 5000 rounds through it to date and never a malfunction.
My second favorite is my 5 inch Citadel by Armscor.

My favorite is the one in my avatar... A DW Pointman Aussie Blue.  Made before CZ took over DW and Bob Serva was in charge.

I like DWs but have more Colts.  So as a brand goes, Colt is my favorite.  A nice series 70 has a good feeling especially when it has been worked on for trigger and sights.

Out of the box, DWs are hard to beat.

I have owned, own, or shot most everything out there.  Wilson, Baers, STI, Springers, Browns, Armscor stuff, Metero Arms, Remington, Remington Rand, Ithaca, Singer, Remington UMC, Sistemas, you name it.
A well balanced breakfast, being necessary to the health of the nation, the right of the people to keep an eat cereal shall not be infringed.  Now who gets the ceral, the breakfast or the people?
Sure I'll shoot your Glock.  Just hang it with the rest of the targets.

I haven't shot many 1911s and I got my first 1911 earlier this month. It's an American Classic II in hard chrome. I bought it from impactguns.com for under $560 (They are still in stock). That same day I took it to the range and found it to be very accurate and I had no issues at all. The other 1911s that I have shot before were a colt and a kimber, they shot well too, but the American Classic II cost $700 less that the others leaving more money for ammo.
I call my AR-15 Anne; she's pretty and likes to accessorize. My AK-47 is known as Frank, he won't stop no matter how dirty he is. Oh and when the gov't comes look'n for 'em, they be hid'n in the attic!

I can't see the poll from Tapatalk...is "none" an option?  I had a SA about 25 years ago and it just didn't feel right in my hand. I don't know why but I just don't care for the feel of the 1911.

I voted for the Detonics simply because I have one, but I can't carry it usually.  It's strictly my BBQ gun.  The slide is Mirror polished and it really stands out.  Now that we have licensed open carry I will probably carry either my MetroArms Amigo or one of the Officer sized Rocks I have.  Once in a while I will throw the Llama Micromax 380 into the mix.

Colt and Kimber or anyone that goes bang when I pull the trigger.

Rock island really makes a good gun for the money.
