Sig 229 9mm LEO trade-ins, night sights/rail - $489.....also 229 .40cal - $340.....other "stuff" too, plus some good deals on ammo

(I'm not in the market but perhaps someone here is.....I've no connection with AIM, just relaying info that I've gotten)

You do not.

7.65 is not the friendliest caliber to find, though.

AIM's Lugers appear to be "Shooter" grade - I'd prefer something a little better and they can be had, with a good search, for around the same price (and on up.....).....AIM doesn't rate the finish nor the barrel condition (in "percentage" or otherwise) - I'd rather buy from someone like Legacy Collectables

.30 Luger is readily available from PPU and Fiocchi, for 30-50 cents per round - of course 9mm is unlimited (for now) but, for me, I wouldn't be shooting a Luger so much that ammo price would be a concern

personally I'd rather have the .30 cal

(add :  just checked and see that Academy shows that they carry Fiocchi .30 Luger, don't know about PPU - but both of them are all over the internet ammo sites)

My Luger is .30, - (1920's alphabet) It is all matching, with no import marks.
I got it from a guy that didn't want it once he found out it was not 9mm. - he basically gave it to me.

Online is definately the way to go for ammo.

I have not shot the PPU,
the Fiocchi shoots well in my Luger, but some people report problems with the SP ammo in theirs.

Winchester .30 Luger seems over-powered in my Luger. - I don't like to shoot it.

The best ammo I have is some Sako .30 Luger I bought online years ago.
I still have a few boxes left.

I only shoot my Luger about once a year or so, so I don't go through a lot of ammo.

I have cases and dies,
but have not reloaded for it yet.
Hornady used to make a bullet specifically for loading .30 Luger, but I don't think they do anymore.
Although they do have a 90gr .309 XTP bullet, but I'm not sure how they will feed.
