Yup, what a dickweed is right and to think up until six or seven years ago I thought he was this great American. Now I read this: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/05/10/would-do-it-again-mccain-writes-about-release-steele-dossier-to-fbi.html
Not only did he help create the BS Russia collusion probe he stirred the pot with a big smile.

" ..won't go quietly.."

Because that's not the persona experiencing their current health situation.
It is reasonable to expect a more intense and vitriolic response with time.
Why? Because said afflicted persons believe they are speaking from a clear mental perspective based their reality.
But as the final buzzer approaches, more emotional comments not based on reality will come out.
Then expect others to start controlling what the public hears, particularly hurtful parting shots.

Many of us have relatives who have gone thru vitriolic episodes and diatribes, some clearly ill, others maybe just bitter.  Was that 'the real person you knew'?
They likely were not of the making of the condition and probably won't get better.

Give them a break, their world can be very frustrating and fearful.
(There might even be such a person on this forum who is in a borderline situation and may not even know it.)

McCain has clearly changed in the last 10 years, after he ran and lost in 2008 I get the feeling he was pissed at the world, beyond his "Maverick" schtick.  He wasn't good for Arizona then (so said the chief lobbyist for AZ's biggest employer), nor AZ or the nation now.

Like Alte, when he was first elected to the Senate, many in the nation hoped he'd be the next Proxmire and cut out wasteful spending.   We see where that went.

While I wish him no ill, Psych may have nailed the diagnosis, and it may have been around for a long time.

He was winning in the polls big time until he done one thing.

And I very distinctly remember telling a guy at work who made the excited public announcement about his " HOT" VP pick.

" what the F is he doing, he just threw the election".

cant imagine my surprise when thats exactly what happened.

But as I already said in another thread, IMO, he is a narcissistic traitor and karma is a real b##ch. .
I have no feelings for him whatsoever.
Politicians are like diapers, they should be changed often, and for the same reason.

There are two kinds of people in the world my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. YOU DIG.  " Blondie".

Well, any man that wouldnt cheat at cards for a poke, dont want one bad enough. " Gus".
