Where do you buy GOLD in Texas?

Where does one buy gold in Texas? What are some well-established, reputable dealers in major cities who don't charge an arm and a leg when you buy/sell?

I haven't bought gold in a while, but I preferred the 1 oz gold coins which avoid the assay problem.

It's a good idea to buy coins in fractional values. I purchased Krugerrands back when everyone was divesting their South African investments. Picked up coins in 1/10, 1/4, 1/2 and full ounce weights. I paid scrap value of $420 to $450 per ounce in 1983. I had changed jobs and had about $10k in a retirement program pay out I needed to invest. Many dealers had the coins in small lots at that time.

Hey Ron those were the days.  Bought a butt load of Kruegers back then when gold was $300 an ounce.
I sold off half a while back when it hit $1500.

Update:  I really like Texas Precious Metals in Shiner. Have dealt with them almost exclusively since I first posed the question.

US Coins will price match anything you show them on your phone. I like them too they just have bullion infrequently.
