Protective eye wear colors

Anybody tried the new purple tints for clay shooting?  Read a couple of articles that say they are fantastic, but wonder if it is all hype.
God doesn't want you to hunt with an ugly gun!

That's more in the red spectrum, right?

I personally wear glasses, so I do not wear the safety glasses.
