What is your favorite carry gun?
« on: March 17, 2017, 02:42:18 PM »
We may have talked about this before - I know there has been carry gun threads in the past...

But for those that have more than 1 carry gun.... What is your favorite one of them all?

I've gone back to carrying a Beretta 92FS all the time.  Easily my favorite gun.   :rocknroll2:

I carried a 92FS for 3 straight years - several years back. It was nice to carry a fullsize gun.

But with back issues, I can no longer take the weight. My favorite gun is my HK P2000 with the Hogue Jr grip. I've tried other options to replace it, but I like it too much.

M&P Shield, but I hope to adjust to carrying my M&P full size once I find the "right" holster/mag carrier combo.

Dan Wesson Silverback

It is my favorite, but it seems the Sig 938 is going to rack up the most holster time cause it disappears so nicely and I work in peoples homes.  The Wiley Clapp LW Commander is favored for BBQ, but will be supplanted when I get my STI Duty One back from a little road trip I'm plotting.

Last 2 + years,,

CZ 75 PCR  compact D with TruGlo TFX sights.  Rotation Back up is a CZ 75 BD with TruGlo TFX.  I got a CZ P 01 last fall, but aint ran enough rounds through it yet to suit me  or got the TruGlos on it yet.

The 20 + years before that,

Beretta 92FS.

The wife carrys a CZ Rami 2075 D.

I love the CZ's. They've proven to be 100% reliable so far, with 1500+ rounds ran through the PCR without a hiccup. Probably the most comfortable auto's Ive ever owned, and certainly the most accurate.

I will NEVER get rid of my Beretta 92's.  Ive NEVER had a failure on any of mine.

I really like the choices Im seeing.  Some damn fine sidearms on the list so far.  :thumbsup1:

Naw... hand made leather desk plaque some friends had done for me in a previous life. Pistol covers my initials and grip covers the Mc before the D. Can't let you heathens know my real name...... :icon_wink:

One of three.............Gen 4 Glock 23, Gen 4 Glock 19, or, more and more, my Glock 43. Before I retired , I carried my G23 exclusively, on duty and off duty, uniform or plain clothes. Since I retired, I find myself more and more toting one of my 9mm Glocks. I can't explain it, I would never have believed it a year or two ago, but it is happening. I really like the 9mm Glocks, ad I have recently obtained a G26, but I have not really warmed up to that yet.

My daughter in law has the SIG 938.

Ive shot it some.  That is a seriously nice pistol.  Accurate as hell, and minimal recoil. Great trigger and sights.

Ready to run right outta the box.

Dont git much better than that.  :thumbsup1:

I've probably carried my NP3 coated Beretta 96G Centurion more than any other, but have been carrying my Beretta MiniCougar a lot since I got it.
