Didn't see this posted yet.....

Quote
Freed up by the Supreme Court’s ongoing reluctance to engage in depth with the Second Amendment, the Fourth Circuit has taken it upon itself to rewrite Heller en banc. In a 10–4 decision, issued yesterday afternoon, the court upheld Maryland’s ban on both “assault weapons” and “high capacity magazines.” By so doing, it deprived the people of Maryland, the Carolinas, and the Virginias of the core protections to which the Constitution entitles them.

Too bad for Maryland. But this will not stand.

It shouldn't even have to stand at all. It has already been adjudicated. The constitution is clear.

I just dont understand why the NRA is  supposedly so pro 2 A , and they wont go after these libtard judges and libtard courts.

If taken to SCOTUS,, it cannot stand.  So WHY dont they do it,, then sue the liberal judges for abuse of power.  Even if it dont go anywhere, drag them through the mud.

They suspend a kid for having a cokkie that looks like a gun? Sue the crap out of them. IMO, thats what they SHOULD be doing.  Cut the head off the snake before it gets started.

That point kinda irritates me about the NRA and prevents me from sponsoring them.

You will have a better chance to fix things to your liking from the "inside" than you do from the "outside."  I've got several hours marked out this week to do due diligence so I can do my part by voting for leadership that will provide effective cover.

My "liking" has nothing to do with the NRA saying  this, and NOT doing that.
Pandering to the peanut galley while they line their pockets .
They are no better than politicians IMO.

And they have been playing that game far too long for me to think I can change it.

But good luck on your part. I hope it works out for ya.  :th_thicon_idea:

I'am thinking about dumping the NRA and going with the GOA .
Almost 2 to 3 times a week all I get is requests for more money and I am tired of it.
I don't see where they are really important things that need to be done.
GOA does not compromise when they fight for  the second   amendment rights.

308NATO,

CALL NRA HQ & ask to be put on the "NO solicitation list".
(I did years ago & never get any solicitation for $$$$$$ since.)

I dumped them a while back.
Same issues, plus,
much like the old book of the month scams, they send stuff and if you don't return it within XX amount of time they send you a bill.

I travel a lot for work and never saw half the stuff they sent.

I cancelled my membership and requested they stop sending me stuff, and yet here we are a couple years later, still sending me requests to join........

My Dad got a  membership years ago and was on board so to speak. . Then they  hounded him so much for money he got pissed off and dont have much good to say about them anymore.
He also got pretty irritated watching all this ridiculous anti gun crap be left go unchecked by someone he ALSO thought should be going after them.
