Just curious, but did anything come of this thread? Sorry I wasn't paying close enough attention to the forum back in January. I'm only 2 counties away in The Heart of Texas, AKA Brown Co. Just don't tell the folks in McCullough Co. who believe that Brady is the geographical center of Texas, LOL!

I only know Stephenville from things like Tarleton State University. Driving through on my way to visit my brother in Ft. Worth and the Pigeon Road gunshop and range.

My shooting partner and I could probably make the trip if y'all have another event. Our local public range is at best what I'd call, functional. Really a shame considering that Coleman is right next door and has a USPSA range and league. There is a nice private range here, but it wasn't really set up with handgunning in mind. We also shoot at the Eastland range from time to time. Considering their relatively small number of members, they actually have a nice NRA range. Just have to drive about 75 miles to get there.  :icon_wink:

.
would like to see another "shoot" up in Madisonville (this time without the I 45 construction and "damp" weather and the food poisoning I got recently from the Madisonville Buc-ee's) - it's been so long that I forgot who the sponsor was.....
