Man, I thought by the name of title this would be a thread about ACTUAL hand-fabbed 4x4's like the ones my mom's rock crawling club use to off-road up mountainsides, not pansy trucks. Oh well... :th_thicon_lol:  :th_thicon_question:

Much like Tango, the wife and I both traded in and got Jeeps.

She got the better deal. 2014 Rubicon X that had been special ordered with everything you would want upgraded. The previous owner bought it for his place in Colorado. Only 11000 miles on it. I didn't mind though. I got a 2015 Hardrock with the best option you can have with teenagers, a manual transmission. They all want to drive hers. Mine not so much.

My wife is happy with stock. Of course I can't have a lego car and not build it into something else, so it was only a month, before I had ordered a lift, tires, wheels, and various other mods.

I do miss the power of my truck. I got a minivan motor, gas mileage sucks, the left side of a passing lane isn't where I hang out anymore and a crosswind makes keeping it on the road, like wrestling a bear.
But inspite of all that, it's like b :th_thicon_question:  :th_thicon_question: bs, their just fun.

We made our youngest daughter learn to drive on a standard.

I understand the teenager thing,
but it's a skill you should force them to learn. :)

We went to dinner last night and out of the blue my wife asked to drive home. She did fine even though she hadn't driven a stick in a forever. That made our daughter want to try. This morning I have mild whiplash, but she got the hang of it. She made it until she had to turn around in a driveway. She was worried she was going to go through their fence ( I was a little worried about that as well) so she let me take over.

Nope.  Other than adding the hard shell tonneau cover, no.
