Anyone use a SIG Oscar 3?
« on: April 18, 2017, 09:39:41 PM »
Just bought this for spotting at the range 50 and 100 yards.  I am thinking 20X is good enough for my AR and .308 rifles.  I didnt want to have to get a tripod setup.  The Oscar 3 had image stabilization.

The Gun Club has a 300 and 500 range but not sure if I will try to shoot that far.  I know 20X wont work for those distances.

I use a Celestron 8" telescope at 100-200X to spot at 600 and 1000 yards.
The large aperture minimizes mirage.

It was better and cheaper than the high end scopes.
