Tango, Iím afraid youíre correct.  On any state-wide race, the numbers just arenít there.  Itís too late for them (at least until they go bankrupt).

the next blue POTUS would probably bail them out, if bankruptcy is in their future

General Gun Discussion / Re: Replacing an AR-15 Bullet Button Release

Yes, all you need to do is remove the bullet button and replace it with a normal magazine release.

The bullet button itself does not require any modification to the lower receiver to install.
Ah. OK. For removal does this require a screwdriver or a punch or something else? Thanks.....

Yup. Nephew is an LEO and has the Special Occupational Tax permit. Brother's father in law was a shady character that did a lot of business in Columbia from late seventies to mid eighties. In 1992 he had to file for bankruptcy. A week later he was T boned by a national soft drink manufactures delivery truck. Driver tested positive for wacky tabbacy. He lives in Belize now with a woman 40 years younger than him. True Story  :afraid4:

General Gun Discussion / PPS-50/22

My older brother, who passed away in 2002, received this as a Christmas present from his father in law in 1980. Fully auto .22 LR with a fifty round drum mag. For several years we had mucho fun with it at his ranch. I hate to admit it now but small animals and reptiles didn't stand a chance with that thing. Turtles at the stock pond were a particular favorite as well as large flocks of grackles which we could dispatch 3-4 at a time with 5-6 round bursts.
His son, my nephew, recently told me that the magazine spring no longer works and has had no luck finding a replacement. If someone could point me in the right direction or knows anything about these I would appreciate it.
